Camp Excellent is made up of 8 one-week sessions.

Camp is in session from June 5, 2023 to July 28, 2023.
​
The price is $300 per week. You may choose one week or multiple weeks.
Camp Excellent offers the BEST VALUE for a summer camp experience.

Session 1: June 5-9, 2023
​
Artistic Amusement
Whimsical Art – turn shapes and squiggles into images, mistakes into magic, comical scenes and WAY more. This week well unlock creative thinking and problem solving to create art. If you’ve ever tossed a drawing because you “messed up” this will be a mind-blowing week.
Roller Coasters – We’ll build marble coasters, test them and improve. We start simple and build up. These marble coaster will be AMAZING!

Session 2: June 12-16, 2023
Creativity Ignited!
Comic Book Creations – From creating characters and scenes, lettering, getting creative with story and comic artwork, we’ll unlock creativity and we’ll have so much fun doing it. Seriously, this week will ignite your child’s creativity.
Water Bottle Rocket Adventures – We’ll be exploring the science behind rockets and designing and building our own water bottle rockets. Then it's out to the "launchpad" to test and adjust our designs to achieve the ultimate height and distance and face some other wild challenges. Get ready to blast off with us this week!
The whole will be a blast! Pun intended! This paring of themes is fun. The art and stem experiences inspire creativity in both. It's sure to be a camper favorite.

Session 2: June 18-23, 2023
Creative Connection: Bridging Nature's Palette with Bridge Engineering
Love to create? Interested in how things are made? Do you like testing, experimenting and looking at solutions in a while new way? Yes, yes, and yes? You're going to love this week!
Nature's Palette - Create REAL paint for each activity from natural materials. This week is unforgettable: From blueberries to backgrounds, turmeric sunrises, and a lot more that will make you look at nature (or the fridge) a whole lot different. The creativity and learning in these lessons is top notch. People won't believe you when you tell them you made the paint and the painting!
Bridge Brilliance – 5 days, 5 bridge challenges! We’ll use different materials and each bridge will be built to overcome a different challenge. If destruction...or preventing destruction is your thing, get ready. The STEM activities are paired with the natural painting because bridges are a wonderful combination of art and engineering. Some of the most inspiring bridges in the world are influenced by the beauty and influence of nature.
Get ready to unleash your creativity and problem-solving skills as we build bridges that can withstand the toughest challenges. Whether you're a budding artist or a future engineer, this week will be an adventure full of learning, creativity, and fun. So grab your paintbrush and get ready to build some bridges!

Session 4: June 26-30, 2023

Ultimate Summer Mashup: Art Party Meets Trick Shot Week
Art Party 1: "Art Party" is a blast! Every day, we'll try a new art method or style, practice it, and then add our own twist. On Friday, we'll use everything we've learned in one big art party. Throughout the week, we'll have fun with various art activities, including a wacky spin-the-wheel paint game, painting cool balloons, creating mini paintings, and collaborating on a giant art project. Each activity is a party, and at Camp Excellent, we take the fun of art to the next level.

Trick-Shot Week is a combination of AWESOME activities we're excited to include. These activities spark pure joy. This week is all about creativity, science, estimation, physical challenges, teamwork, and persistence. Campers love this one! We'll take on various challenges, get competitive, and explore trick-shot techniques inspired by YouTubers. Like every week at Camp Excellent, this is another one where campers will be begging for it to continue.

Session 5: July 5-7, 2023
​
Fun and Games - Art, STEM, and all sorts of awesome group play "mini battles".
During this short week, we're going to keep the 4th of July fun going. We're going to do mini canvas activities (always a fan favorite) and we'll have a fireworks tutorial with different mediums and methods which results in some really great art!
Our STEM games and activities include "stomp rockets" where we'll build air powered rockets that are activated by stomping on a DIY pump. It's great fun!
The 3-day session takes it up a notch with fun and games makes an awesome 4th of July holiday week even better. The mini battles are hilariously fun and challenging. "Toilet Paper Tug", Cookie-Face Wigglers, Blindfolded Balloon Challenge, Ping-Pong Cup Challenge and much more... THIS WEEK WILL BE A BLAST!!!!!

Session 6: July 10-14, 2023

Summer Splash: Water Color Wonders and Brilliant Water Balloon Science
​
Watercolor may be one of the most popular forms of painting but if you want to unleash your watercolor creativity and skill, join us for a week of exploring watercolors like never before. From experimenting with textures, methods techniques, you'll leave with new abilities that will take your art to a whole new level. You’re going to want to go frame shopping after the week is through!
​
But that's not all!
This week we're also bringing STEM to the mix with Water Balloon Week. Get ready to test your skills, compete, and have a blast (literally) with water balloons. This experience will change the way your kids think about water balloons forever!

"Art Party" is a blast! Every day, we'll try a new art method or style, practice it, and then add our own twist. On Friday, we'll use everything we've learned in one big art party. Throughout the week, we'll have fun with various art activities, wacky spin-the-wheel paint game is back, art technique challenges, a hilarious directed drawing activity (you'll hear about this a lot on the ride home!) and collaborating on a giant art party project. Each activity is a party, and at Camp Excellent, we take the fun of art to the next level.
Rocket Adventure 2 has some unfinished business... some scores to settle and some new challenges to conquer. We couldn't do this for one session!

Session 8: July 23-28, 2023

"The Best of Camp Excellent" Week
​
This week may be the most awesome way to close out your summer. It's a week of favorites and bests. There will be an activity from every week. That means there will be the favorite art activities, favorite STEM activities, favorite games, and more. There will be a few surprises, as always.
**Please note that our session descriptions provide a brief synopsis of each week and do not cover everything planned. In addition to art and STEM activities, we have plenty of other exciting games and team-building exercises throughout the day. At Camp Excellent, there's never a dull moment. Join us for a fun-filled week of making new friends and unforgettable memories!**

Hours of Operation
​
Our regular camp hours are from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. However, please note that during the week of July 4th, we will be closed on the 3rd and 4th. During that week, we offer a special 3-day session at a reduced rate. Rest assured that even though it's a shorter week, it's not reduced fun! We have plenty of exciting activities and adventures planned for the campers to enjoy.
