At the real foundation of the great pyramids: Core Values.

Core Values: The Foundation of the Great Pyramids of Giza The reason the Pyramids of Giza are "great" and one of the Seven Ancient wonders of the World, and have endured over 4,500 years ago by the ancient Egyptians. They are massive structures made of more than 2.3 million stone blocks, which is enough to creat a wall around France nearly ten feet tall. They are weathered and worn but still stand stark and impressive today. Much has changed during the last 4500 years, however the foundation of values the pyramids were built on are just as important today as they were thousands of years ago. No matter your goals, it would be wise to learn from the values that guide us in creating greatness. So, let's learn from the 8 core values that guided the construction of the pyramids:

Teamwork and collaboration: The construction of the pyramids required a massive workforce, and it is believed that tens of thousands of workers were involved in the project. They worked together in teams to complete different phases of construction. It was hard work - impossible to do alone. But with the power of working together for a common goal - it was possible.

Strategic planning and organization: Building the pyramids was a huge undertaking that required careful planning and organization. Builders had to carefully select the site for the pyramid, plan the size and shape of the structure, and organize the workforce to complete the project on time.

Innovation and problem-solving: The builders of the pyramids faced numerous challenges during the construction process, including how to transport and assemble the massive stone blocks. They had to come up with new ideas and techniques to solve these problems as they arose.

Perseverance and resilience: The construction of the pyramids took decades to complete, and the builders faced numerous setbacks and challenges along the way. They had to keep going and not give up, no matter how difficult the task.

Commitment to excellence in craftsmanship and attention to detail: The builders of the pyramids were highly skilled craftsmen who were trained to work with precision and skill. They took great pride in their work and wanted to create something truly magnificent.

Reverence for their pharaohs: The pharaohs were seen as the protectors and guardians of Egypt, and the pyramids were built as their eternal resting places. The builders had deep respect for the pharaohs and their important role in Egyptian society.

Deep respect for the natural world and the cyclical nature of life and death: The ancient Egyptians believed in the afterlife and that the pharaohs needed to be provided with everything they would need in the afterlife. The pyramids were built to withstand the ravages of time and to protect the pharaohs' earthly possessions and offerings for eternity.

Focus on legacy: The builders of the pyramids were not just thinking about the present, but also about the future. They wanted to create something that would last for generations and be remembered long after they were gone. These are the 8 core values that guided the construction of the Pyramids of Giza. They are still relevant today and can be applied to any task, big or small. By focusing on teamwork, planning, innovation, perseverance, craftsmanship, respect, legacy, and attention to detail, we can achieve great things and leave a lasting impact on the world.

And the world... it can be small like your family, circle of friends or school or work. Or, the world can be large... far beyond friends and family but real good works that improve humanity, the planet, species, or anything else.
